On 26. October 2023, version 2.0 hit the mac app store. The application can be downloaded from the website manderc.com as well.

• A new name. "Color Machine" is now called "Color Prompt", which is a registered trademark.
• Rewrote the application in C
• A completely redesigned UI
• Removed Screen Resolution window and FD-7 measurement device
