Auto Sample Rate

Does this automatically change the sample rate of the device to match the audio? So if i were playing a song at 44.1khz it would change to output in that sample rate as opposed to the standard locked 48khz? (sorry dont know if im asking this in the correct place)

No. For example, Tensor phones use 48kHz for internal speaker output, but 192kHz for USB DAC output with mastering grade up-sampling when playing 44.1kHz tracks. Its audio quality is far better than that using bit-perfect output because its up-sampling is far better than the over-sampling in DACs.
