Regarding the Xiaomi AX1800 (RA67)

• If the ram is inadequate for the wifi drivers if flashed with openwrt. (256 Mb of RAM)

Then what if build a version that doesn't include the wifi drivers?
Only that it will work as a Managed Switch, and partnered with a dumb AP on one of its port.

Can this be achieved?

Actually. I'm wondering this. I think it's powerful enough as a main router without WiFi.

IPQ6000 does not have integrated network card function, it uses the switch chip QCA8075, if it does not use WiFi driver, the device may not work, probably.
