Compatibility with older Oculus games #1880

Older games made for Oculus Rift.
Is your request related to a problem? Please describe.
I found out that CryEngine 3/4 have a native stereoscopic 3D mode that often works, and a Oculus Rift VR mode that I want to test.
Crysis 2/3 and Kingdom Come: Deliverance have mostly functional stereo 3D modes so I'm hoping VR modes are still functional too. Other games might also benefit too, like Star Citizen, Prey and other CE 3/4 games.

I'm looking for a way to play Oculus Rift games on newer runtimes like OpenVR/SteamVR or OpenXR
Describe alternatives you've considered
There's vorpX but it's paid software and reviews are mixed.

On a side note, where do I download the Oculus software from?
It seems Oculus then Facebook then Meta redirects and broke the Oculus software compatibility with Revive at around version 1.34 or something, and apparently the guide hasn't been updated in a long time.
