Automatically release reservation for a resource that requires check in not working #1046

For a resource that requires check in and check out, the basic check in / check out appears to work fine.
However, the "Automatically released if not checked in within X minutes" function does not appear to work. The booking remains on the schedule if the user does not check in and the booked time limit cannot be overwritten by a user (only by an Admin editing it or deleting it) and then booking in the free'd up slots. The booked user also can still check in after the X minutes have expired.
From the wording of the option, I would have expected the booking to be automatincally deleted X minutes after its start time if the user hasn't checked in.
There is a kind of logic to not deleting unchecked in bookings so that the user can still be billed for time wasting, but that doesn't match what the resource access option says it will do.
This occurs on both V 2.8.6.2 and 2.8.6.1
Thanks to all that help maintain this this brilliant resource. I've been running it unofficially for many different groups at my institution for years, as low on our IT department's radar as possible :-), and they have finally realised how widely it is used and how useful it is and taken on the service as an official offer.
