It's a big change, but it might be nice to be able to have some kind of frequent sorted lists. By way of analogy, in my library application, I can create "Shelves" that correspond to how my books are organized at home: Literature, Poetry, Psychology, Critical Theory, Folklore and Faerie Stories, Language Reference.
So I can put whatever items I want into multiple shelves either automatically based on criteria I define, or just by selection. Then I can click a drop-down to go to those "shelves" and it will only show those items.
For a big clothing collection, this might be a key feature. Some people might use this for shoes alone.
