Cannot change the User Data Path after restarting

• I searched the issue tracker for other issues covering my case
• This is a Launcher issue. (Usually if you can reproduce it with a fresh instance)

Describe the bug
I was trying to change the User Data Path to a different location. It's not keeping the changed path

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. go in
   Setting -> General -> User Data Path -> Changed it.
2. applied the change with restarting KoalaLauncher
3. go back in Setting & see the current path being used in User Data Path

Expected behavior
I expected the path for User Data Path to stay the same after restarting. And Launcher would be using that

Possible solutions
I am not sure what's the solution for this issues.

Operating System:

• OS: Windows 10 pro
• Launcher Version: 1.2.1
• Java Version: 8 & 17
• Minecraft Version: 1.12.2 & 1.18.2
• Mod Loader: Forge

Additional context
I am using the zip (portable) of Koala Launcher, so I can install it via Scoop (it's similar to Chocolately or Win-get). If you have any ideas for why it don't works. Please let me know.
