Feature request/reinstatement: /fps command or something similar

I've noticed in D2DX that the _/fps_ command no longer seems to do anything. Any chance this could be reinstated or a _/ping_ or _/latency_ command at least?

If not that then a showfps=false/true, or showlatency=false/true / showping=false/true option in d2dx.cfg would work just as well.
