Menu bar extremely squished

For whatever reason, the text on the menu bar is all squished together. Already tried changing fonts and stuff, didn't help.

What Windowmanager are you using?

I would love to try and reproduce this in a VM . .

I'm using the latest version of GNOME on Xorg and Qt 5.13.0.
