Patches Failed To Apply For New DCS Build

Good afternoon,

After the latest update to DCS (update 2.9.22.17790), I went through the motions to get Helios "patched" for use with the new update. This error log was generated see attached.

• I ran the cleanup of the DCS build (slow version)
• Re-ran the install of patches through Helios.
• Upon startup of the game, the MFD and other available screens such as the RWR, IFEI for the F/A-18, and other were not present.

I have a good number of these modules so there should not have been issue with these. However I do not have the CH-47 and the C-130J.

Please complete the following information:

• Helios Version: 1.6.6162.1 for the hot fix from issue number
• DCS Version: 2.9.22.17790
• BMS Version: N/A

The problem happened while using

(place an 'x' between the square brackets for all that apply)

• [ X ] Profile Editor
• Control Center
• Keypress Receiver
• Something else (remember to tell us what it is)

The problem that the hot fix tried to resolve for issue number 894 was still present but Helios was functional with the MFD's, et al still being displayed. It just came back with the new patch.

Betting something changed in the f-1 file and the patch system doesn't recognize it. For the time being just disable that patch under Details)Advanced) in the DCS Additional Viewports tab and then try installing the patches again.. will have to lose that viewport in the f-1 for now until a new patch is created.

It took me a moment to understand the "f-1 file". I did what you recommended and that seems to bring back the functionality of at least that one module (F/A-18). I can't speak about the others.

My apologies. I tend to shorten the aircraft names a lot when I type. The error log looks normal. Those are notifications moreso, rather than errors. It's just letting you know that it didn't apply patches to aircraft that you don't have, because the files aren't there for Helios to patch.
