New Attitude introduces a bug in F/A-18 Hornet ADI Alt Image (night/NVG)

There is really not much to say except some files are missing for the NVG Alt Image ADI (new version). I have tried the two hotfixes released, same problem

This relates to the renaming of images used in the FA-18C ADI when the new ADI Ball was introduced. The alternate images were an early way to give NVG capability, however I'm tempted to deprecate this now that the "Color Effect" control can do more or less the same thing without multiple images needing to be shipped.
Need to consider what the best "imperfect" solution to this is.

while the color effect feature is nice (I already tried setting instruments green using a diffrent trigger (INST PL Lights) however, its difficult to achieve the exact NVG effect (green indicators black gauge background). I would be nice if you can still leave the legacy NVG support. It was really nice.

I also tried the sphere/cylindrical gauge to experiment. Would love to use it for a compass, wondering if there is a hornet compass image I can use

I'm currently using a 3D compass on the CH-47F. I'll attach the image here when I'm on my Helios machine.

This one worked beatifuly! just had to tweak the return value -180 as it seems reversed in the hornet. Compass was showing East while hornet showed West, updated the trigger via LUA and fixed. I do however noticed that in the hornet the compass ball does have inertia, it moves based on Gs it appears. Did you implement that in your CH-47F compass? I know I know.. its completely stupid, but its a little detail that would be nice and the gyro seems to support it with X and Z just don't know which value to use.

I absolutely love this new feature!!!! no need for a compass gauge anymore! trivial to setup with Helios! I'll post about it in the DCS Forums
