Autocompletition of labels/references not working

I am using IntelliJ Ultimate for Apple Silicon 2020.3.2 with TeXiFy IDEA 0.7.4.
My issue is: Autocompletion of LaTeX commands (e.g. \section{}) and label referencing ( \ref{eq:label1}) stopped working suddenly.
I am using pdflatex and TeX Live 2017 and have tried rebooting. In past times the issue somehow resolved itself after reboots, but now it has not gone away.
Does someone have an idea what this might be?

Thanks, I can actually reproduce one of the issues with autocompletion:

which is sort of strange, as we should have tests for that. Will research what is going on here.

If you are still having the issue, you could maybe try reinstalling some things, as it seems to have helped in #1801.
The thing is, I still have no idea what could cause missing autocompletion, but if reinstalling things fixes it, it's not an easy to find bug at least.

I completely removed my MiKTeX distribution and reinstalled it (now on MiKTeX 21.2). After some issues (running MiKTeX in Admin mode and updating everything), I got it to work (the SDK finding process seems to be automated now, IntelliJ found the MiKTeX version immediately when previously I had to search for the path which was quite unintuitive).
Autocompletion works now, both for labels, LaTeX commands and Live Templates. So thanks!

My best guess is, that it was some sort of issue with the texlive2017 installation I had going before (?)

Thanks for reporting back, good to hear that it works. It's not the first time that a MiKTeX installation breaks in some very strange way. Best to keep it up to date.

By the way, for next time I would certainly recommend to install it in user mode, not admin mode, it saves permission problems.

To sum up, reinstalling LaTeX (MiKTeX or TeX Live) can sometimes fix these sorts of issues.
