Testing the powershell script from the latest release on linux and i didnt have any issues.

Was a log file generated or something in the folder you ran it in?

I apologize, but there are no other logs available in PowerShell. The Forge installation log also shows that the installation was successful. Beyond that, there are no other log files for me to check, and I'm quite frustrated about it.

do you have java installed? and if so what version? you can check by running java -version inside powershell. Otherwise i dont know whats happening, i dusted off my laptop and tested it on windows and it ran fine.

Is it possible to add some log output at certain points in the PS1 script for debugging?

maybe? i cannot lie this has surpassed my knowledge of powershell though and i dont think i can help much more
