Running a single test file

How can I run a single test file, instead of all tests? make test/foo.t doesn't do it..

After tests have been compiled, they can be simply executed directly. The Python tests don't even require make test upfront, as far as I know:

Thanks -- is there a way to compile the tests without running them? I'd like a one-liner to run my test file without waiting for all the other tests.

Looking into the CMakeLists.txt, there is build_tests, so the following one-liner should rebuild the tests and run your selected test file:

make -s build_tests > /dev/null && ./test/variant_divide.t
