Call Confirmation not Working

Steps to reproduce the bug

Go to Settings and turn on "Show a call confirmation dialog before initiating a call", then place a call.

Expected behavior

A call confirmation to come up

Actual behavior

It immediately dials

Additional information

I have erased the app settings and cache without success. I have toggle the option switch off, force stopped, then open, back on and still no luck. It used to work, then one day, it just stopped showing the confirmation and is just direct dialing.

Does it happen everywhere in the app, or only in a particular tab, like e.g. Contacts?

Ah actually it works in history and favourites, but not the contact tab.

In Contacts tab, Phone opens contact in an external app. So, when you're calling through that other app, we're just performing a call as requested by another app without asking. However, if you're using Fossify Contacts, it also has an option for call confirmation.
