Manual Installation

Hey all,
I'm running home assistant as a container on my NAS and so don't have access HACS for installation. Reading through the quick start the manual install docs link off to the /dist directory using the following URL, https://github.com/ExperienceLovelace/ha-floorplan/tree/master/dist, however this does not exist.

I'm guessing then that I should be looking at https://github.com/ExperienceLovelace/ha-floorplan/tree/master/src, but where does this go in the HA directory structure?

Thanks for pointing to the file. So I drop floorplan.js into /config/custom_components?

Personally I'd create a subfolder inside config/www, and place it inside that. You need to select a location, which are resolvable, as floorplan.js needs to be download from your browser, every time you open up the dashboards. The ressource path needs to be added to <haip:haport>/config/lovelace/resources.

Note that files saved in the config/www folder, will be resolved like: <haip:haport>/local/<filename>, after you have restarted Home Assistant. This is only needed the first time you create the www at the top level of your config folder.

But I've not installed frontend components manually for a long time.

I'm still wondering why you're unable to install HACS on your NAS, but I guess that's not relevant for this discussion.

Thanks, it was my understanding that HACS wasn't compatible with a container install, this seems to be misleading info I read or outdated info. I see that there are instructions for installing it with a container installation, will try that and fall back to manual if it doesn't work.
