If the case creation fails in VCG, you can get a couple error messages in your Jupyter Notebook. One error points to the actual error. The other error says something like "makes no sense to have an empty read-only file...". That's a misleading error that gets thrown because of the first error. We need to figure out why that's happening, or it's a rabbit hole people might go chasing down (like I did hah)
