Description
The alert system will consist of a few different phases:
- Clear: Nothing suspicious has been sighted
- If the NPCs see something suspicious they'll investigate, if what they investigate turns out to be nothing, nothing will happen, however, if the investigation results in a confirmed threat (such as finding a dead body) the alert state will begin.
- Alert: A threat has been confirmed, but it is unknown where it is
- NPCs break routine and start to look around slowly, this phase lasts around 1 minute.
- Combat: The location of the player is known
- NPCs follow their combat routines to fight the player
- Evasion: Player has been lost, NPCs will search more aggressively and react quickly to the player being re-sighted
- Similar to alert but more agressive (faster movement)
