How To Make A Robot? #8

Before we decide to what to include the class, we need to know what jobs are involved to make a robot. This is an inventory of our steps (anticipated):

  • 3D-print robot frame
  • solder wires to sensors
  • solder engine wires to drivers
  • solder breakaway header pins to drivers for breadboard mount
  • mount motors
  • assemble robot frame w/ nuts and bolts
  • mount breadboard, sensors
  • decorate robot?
  • wire up the breadboard (power, sensors, drivers, power switch)
  • collect / customize the code? testing code?
  • flash code onto microcontroller
  • play!
