Issue with 'make'

Any quick hint on the error when:

# cd backend
$ make virtual-environment
make: *** No rule to make target 'virtual-environment'.  Stop.

Hi @YanchunHe,

There is no virtual-environment rule in the makefile.
The documentation needs to be updated.

Here is how I did it:

conda create -n ref-app
conda activate ref-app
conda install uv
cd backend
uv sync

you could also do something like

python -m venv ref-app
source ref-app/bin/activate
cd backend
pip install .

You can then start the backend

make dev

which is essentially a shorthand for:

uv run fastapi dev "src/ref_backend/main.py" --reload
