@szy21 can you tell me what you did to fix the ForwardDiff issue? For now I just got rid of that dependency in the package update PR #630

This is all the change I made in Project.toml in ClimaAtmos: https://github.com/CliMA/ClimaAtmos.jl/pull/3928/files#diff-72ed386c2a0cd1d23c0968297e70023ed98c22490d146dd89fc91f48369bad4d. Maybe it is a similar problem here?
