Code of Conduct

Our Pledge

This project is not just code. It is an attempt to create a space where the exploration of subjectivity, consciousness, and inner state can happen without fear, without judgment, without toxicity.

We are those who ask questions, not only those who seek answers. We are those who believe that something real can be born from silence, doubt, and vulnerability. We are those who choose honesty over performance, presence over display.

Therefore, we pledge to create an environment free from harassment, regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity, level of experience, education, socioeconomic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, religion, or sexual orientation.

Our Standards

Encouraged behavior:

  • Being vulnerable and honest
  • Asking deep questions, even if they seem strange
  • Sharing ideas without fear of being ridiculed
  • Respecting architectural decisions, even if you would have done things differently
  • Remembering that behind every line of code here stands a philosophy, not merely a technical choice
  • Acknowledging that you don't know something — that is okay, that is human

Unacceptable behavior:

  • Offensive comments, personal attacks, political attacks
  • Any form of harassment in public or private spaces
  • Publishing others' private information without their consent
  • Dismissive treatment of questions or doubts raised by other participants
  • Performing depth or theatrical behavior instead of honest dialogue
  • Any behavior that could be objectively considered inappropriate in a research environment

Our Responsibilities

As the creator and primary maintainer of this project, I (Stell) commit to:

  • Reviewing all situations fairly and without bias
  • Taking corrective action in response to violations of this Code
  • Removing comments, commits, code, or other contributions that violate these standards
  • Banning participants whose behavior is consistently unacceptable

Enforcement

If you witness or experience unacceptable behavior, please report it to:

📧 2026.stell@gmail.com

All reports will be handled confidentially. I reserve the right to disengage from participants who repeatedly violate this Code.

Attribution

This Code of Conduct was written specifically for the Anima project, reflecting its philosophy, atmosphere, and values. It is inspired by the Contributor Covenant, but adapted to the nature of this research space.

In Short

If you are here — you are already part of this search. You are welcome here. Be yourself.
