📘 Code of Conduct

Purpose

BlocksScreen is an open-source project maintained by Blocks Technology. We are committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative environment for all users, contributors, and community members. This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations and responsibilities to ensure a safe and constructive space for technical engagement.

Expected Behavior

All participants are expected to:

  • Be respectful and considerate in all interactions.
  • Use inclusive language and avoid discriminatory remarks.
  • Provide constructive feedback and engage in technical discussions with professionalism.
  • Respect the intellectual property and licensing terms of all upstream and third-party projects.
  • Follow project documentation and contribution guidelines when engaging with the repository.

Unacceptable Behavior

The following behaviors are not tolerated:

  • Harassment, intimidation, or threats of any kind.
  • Discriminatory language or conduct based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or any other protected characteristic.
  • Personal attacks, trolling, or sustained disruption of discussions.
  • Misrepresentation of affiliation with Blocks Technology or upstream projects.
  • Submitting code or documentation that violates licensing terms or lacks proper attribution.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all project spaces, including:

  • GitHub issues, pull requests, and discussions
  • Email correspondence related to the project
  • Any public or private interactions involving BlocksScreen or its maintainers

Reporting Violations

If you experience or witness behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it to:

All reports will be handled confidentially and reviewed in accordance with Blocks Technology’s internal policies.

Enforcement

Violations may result in:

  • A warning from project maintainers
  • Temporary or permanent removal from project spaces
  • Rejection of contributions or revocation of access

Blocks Technology reserves the right to take appropriate action to maintain the integrity and safety of the project.
