Is this project abandoned? #597

Description

@inverteddensity

I didn't bother filling out the "bug report" template, because I feel the issues are readily apparent to anyone using this userscript. Since 2024-12-04 (I checked and can pinpoint the exact hour on that day this started, since I take screenshots a lot), the twitter highlight color changed from blue to grey, making reading notifications extremely hard on the eyes, since the numbers are now white over a grey background, rather than the white over a blue background they were prior and have remained ever since if you disable this userscript. And at some point in the past few months (I don't have an exact date of when it started), the "trending" and "who to follow" elements started overlapping the timeline, which is when this userscript truly became unusable, but I still used the "element zapper" in ublock origin to delete it every page refresh (or it would even randomly appear again without the page refreshing sometimes), until today when I grew so tired of doing so that I just disabled the userscript, but quickly reconciled myself to being stuck with it in its current state after the eyesore that was stock twitter. So I looked up how to permanently zap elements in ublock origin, and found that using "element picker", selecting an element, and clicking "create" deleted it permanently (the element is x.com##.r-ttdzmv.r-vacyoi.css-175oi2r). I don't even feel it's worth providing screenshots of these issues, but, I will anyway, just for posterity's sake.

Edit: I see that someone else reported the overlap bug #596 . I didn't think anyone had, since I didn't see anyone report the notification color bug, which had been going on far longer. That is my fault, but, at this point this is still less of a "bug report" and more asking if anything will ever get fixed at all.
