List of issues with Boinc and Mint Linux

Describe the bug

When installing Boinc via Flatpak, System Install, or a Build. No make what install of 8.2.8 tired I ended up with some issues. The first being at startup I get the "Invalid client RPC password. Try reinstalling BOINC" with a long struggle I got past this to the start screen. Sadly I was not able to reproduce this solution on a second computer with Mint. The next issue is when running the add project screen on the first run the page is has no projects loaded. Second run and they load. Finally when the projects do load, after typing in my logins and pressing enter it starts to fill up the RAM until the computer becomes unusable, watched it from System Monitor. When running boincmgr from the terminal, I get the following error
(boincmgr:16337): libpixbufloader-svg-CRITICAL **: 10:44:24.874: rsvg_handle_get_pixbuf_sub: assertion 'handle != NULL' failed

Steps to reproduce

Installed from all available option on an MacBook Pro 2014 with a clean install of Mint Linux 22

Expected behavior

Should install run and not crash

Finally I have Boinc working on Mint Linux, but there are still issues that should be addressed. I used this set of instructions "https://github.com/BOINC/boinc/wiki/Installing-BOINC-on-Debian-or-Ubuntu" Then added the projects using $boinccmd , so the project manager issue and the error thrown at startup for boincmgr, that was listed above.
