Question: Can asahilinux run windows on arm (not x86_64) .exe with wine due to 16k page size restriction?

I am trying to see whether wine could run natively for apple silicon mac itself and find out the page issue here.

Does wine work natively or not on asahilinux with windows on arm binaries (not x86 box something like that)?

well. i have fixed wine with apple silicon mac and in the processs of PR. All the windows on arm binaries need to be recomplled with 64k alignment, in fact wine has already compiled it with 64k alignment.

Then come the question, should x86_64 also need 64k alignment in the future. So in my proposal of wincall calling convention, the x86_64apx-windows would require 64k alignment too.

The short answer is "it depends". Windows api should in theory always return 64k aligned allocations everywhere, even on x86, but it does not enforce that alignment for apps, and will expose the platform's native page size. So, many apps will Just Work(tm), and some won't, can't really know unless you try.
