Styling: center "modules-center" within available space

I'm tinkering with robertjk's config, and my modules are:

    "modules-left": [
        "sway/workspaces",
        "sway/mode"
    ],
    "modules-center": [
        "sway/window"
    ],
    "modules-right": [
        "network",
        "memory",
        "cpu",
        "temperature",
        "battery",
        "clock#date",
        "clock#time",
        "sway/language",
        "tray"
    ],

So the layout is basically:

[1][2]           window title   [sysinfotrayandwhatnot]

As you can see, "window title" is centred for the whole width of the bar, and it really wastes the space between "modules-left" and "modules-center" (due to the number of right ones). Especially when title is too long and can even mess up the layout a bit.

Can I configure waybar to center window title within available space, to get something like:

[1][2]       window title       [sysinfotrayandwhatnot]

[TheElevatedOne]

In my own config it looks similar to the first layout example.

And I don't know how waybar achieves centering the modules-center part.

But since margin: auto does not work in GTK+ CSS, you can really only hard code it with margins, depending on the reality that the other modules cannot change in lenght, otherwise it will break.

Just a workaround, cannot think of a full solution.

Maybe I'll open an issue then.

It didn't resolve my original problem ("modules-right" truncated), as I hoped, but it seems to warrant a new "discussion"
