Player tamed dragons dont deal damage to other players

Describe the bug
So i tried to fight my friend and he attacked me with the dragons breath (type of dragon not important we tried it on all of em) and it didnt deal any damage we tried attacking pigs with it and that worked.

For me to die or get damaged

What version are you using? 1.12.2 is no longer supported, in case you are using that.
Please provide a full list of your mods and a log file if you're using the last 1.16.5 -2.1.9 version of the mod.
If this is no longer an issue for you and you have resolved it, then please provide us with information how you resolved it so this can be closed.
