Getting blank SVGs on export..

I can't get the SVG_Export node to work (I installed the whole Aelib-mastert). It outputs a file but the canvas is blank.
Importing SVG works fine, but then I tried to plug the imported curves directly to to the SVG_Export node but the file is empty.
A basic tutorial would be great!
