Considerations:
- Want to prevent third-party closed-source derivatives
- If we want option for our own closed-source version in the future, we need dual-licensing optionally, which would require something like a CLA
Personally, i strongly favor strong copyleft:
- GPL v2 or v3 - prevents proprietary forks, standard copyleft
- AGPL v3 - like GPL but also covers SaaS/web services
